The Designer

The Designer is a WELLS AP & Architecturally trained - how structure, form and softness can coexist. She is an equestrian who understands the wordless language between rider and horse. A freediver who knows what it means to descend in silence and trust the breath. A yoga practitioner. A marine enthusiast. And above all, a mother - her son the quiet centre of everything she builds. This is not background. It is the work itself.

Every piece at Cc Finejeweller is shaped by a life lived close to nature, close to the body, and close to what matters. The training in architecture gave her a precise eye for proportion, material, and the relationship between form and function. The time in water and on horseback gave her an understanding of resilience — what it means to be strong without being rigid, grounded without being still.

Jewellery, she came to understand, is the smallest form of architecture. It touches the body directly. It travels everywhere. And when it is made with intention, it carries meaning that outlasts the moment it was purchased.

The philosophy of beauty

Cc Finejeweller is rooted in six Japanese principles of aesthetic — not as decoration, but as a way of designing and living.

粋 – Iki. The human capacity for spontaneity and originality. Every piece begins here — with an instinct, not a formula.

雅 – Miyabi. The pursuit of refined elegance. Delicate in form, deliberate in finish.

幽玄 – Yūgen. A depth that is felt rather than explained. The quality that makes you reach for a piece again and again without quite knowing why.

侘寂 – Wabi-Sabi. The beauty in imperfection. Uniqueness over flawlessness. No two pieces are identical — and that is the point.

渋い – Shibui. Understated simplicity with a purposeful soul. Nothing is added that does not need to be there.

円相 – Ensō. The great circle of completeness. The reminder that harmony lives in the relationship between things — maker and material, wearer and piece, jewellery and world.

These are not concepts borrowed for aesthetics. They are the principles Cc trained under, returned to, and built a brand from.

Each piece is made with care, in keeping with the belief that how something is made is inseparable from what it becomes.

"Creation is home. A happy and cosy place where making, feeling, and connecting become one.

I did not set out to build a jewelry brand. I set out to make things that meant something — to me, and to the person who would eventually wear them. Every piece I make starts with a question: what does this woman need to carry with her? What does she want to feel when she puts this on?

The answer is always the same. Grounded. Seen. Authentically herself.

That is what I make. That is why I make it."
